Congratulations to Bill Hyde for becoming the C-Life February 2020 member of the month. Bill initially joined C-Life for rehabilitation from a motor vehicle accident. And with the support of trainer Matt, he has gone on to lose 15 kilograms.
Bill shares his experience as a C-Life member.
1. What made you decide to train at C-Life?
I had a motorbike accident a few years ago, so I had to do some rehab to recover. I chose C-Life because it was close to home and after training here for a few months I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is also everything I need here including friendly and supportive staff and a broad range of group fitness classes.
2. What changes have you seen since training at C-Life?
I made key changes such as doing more weight training and changing my diet to increase my protein intake. As a result, I was able to lose 19 kilograms.
3. What’s your biggest piece of advice for a C-Life newbie?
Come along and give it a go, don’t be intimidated and ask questions because everyone from the Management down to the staff are super friendly and supportive.
4. What do you like about training at C-Life?
I like all the instructors because they provide a fun and interactive experience in each class. I also like the members here because they are all easy going and have the same fitness goals. Now, these members are my new friends.
5. What do you enjoy most outside of training?
I enjoy socializing with friends, spending time with my partner, traveling and ultimately enjoying the retired life.
6. What motivates you?
To see how much I can push my mind and body to its full potential. With the help of my trainer Matt, I have made incredible progress in the past 12 months.
